I earned passive income and contributed to the slow erosion of authentic human culture by using LLMs to generate an endless stream of shit. Find out how you can too 👇.
I'm 27. I published 1,500 books on Amazon and made $3M. But I wish someone had told me these 7 brutal truths at the beginning. 🧵. 1/ Stop writing interesting books.

That'll get you more than a few lambos.
I'm excited to announce that Laravel has raised a $57M Series A in partnership with Accel. I believe that Laravel is the most productive way to build full-stack web applications, and Laravel Cloud will be the platform for shipping those applications that this community deserves.

React adds a new type of colouring to functions. You have normal, async, and hooks. It is familiarity that makes this feel like "Just JavaScript" vs other frameworks.
Can we all agree in 2024 that "Just JavaScript" is the most ridiculous statement one can make about a JavaScript framework?. Everything is just JavaScript and everything is a whole lot more. You pick these tools for the abstraction, meaning the ship has already sailed.

The fanboys don't want you to discuss the downsides of tools they like. The haters don't want you to discuss the upsides of tools they dislike. But it's useful to be able to do both of these things.
I get the sense that some people don’t like when others complain about technology online. I understand that perspective, but at some point you have to realize that when someone’s complaining about tech it’s because they have wasted hours with some pitfall or confusion typically.
