An example of why active participation in your professional organization is important! If you deal with @UHC as a payor, you should be aware of how they are attempting to restrict patient access to care.
UHC is expanding prior authorization requirements for follow-up PT visits in office and outpatient hospital settings, effective Sept. 1. Some relief may be available to physical therapy practices that qualify for the new Gold Card program.

Who knew that traveling to the APTA Leadership Congress would be such an unpredictable circus? I keep hearing of delegates being delayed and flights being canceled, myself included. I want a name tag ribbon that says “I made it to HoD”.
