This month marks 5 years of speedrunning for me, so for fun I took a pic of every NES game I own that I had/have WR in. Some for a few hours, some I have had for 5 years. I dont specifically care if I have a ton of WRs, but I am proud of the amount of games I have contributed to

Ninja Jajamaru-kun on Saturn, a really cool 3D platformer. Stages are simple, make it to the exit. Other part is 1 on 1 boss fights. Good bit of RNG on bosses and bonus games. Feels like a lost N64 game to me. Classic era DnB music. No other runs I found.

Hissatsu! on Saturn. A very short ninja platformer. 4 characters but I only use 2. Mostly run thru the stages, avoiding combat if possible. Based on a popular JP TV series about assassins. Feels like it could have been a SNES or Genesis game.

Toki on NES, learned this almost 10 years ago but never recorded a PB. Slow paced but has some tight strats. Solid run overall if you never tried it. ๐โ๏ธ

Souls Keeper by @OniricFactor on MSX, homebrew platformer from 2021. Relatively simple route, grab items to progress. Can only hold 2 at once so that's really the only consideration. No iframes so be careful with enemies. Solid little game. ๐ก๏ธ

Found a floor clip using stairs. Start climbing then hit Down on the next frame, you climb down instead. Few spots you can use it, most put you in an OOB room. This is the best one. To get this key, normally need the fuse to activate the elevator, or just go thru the floor.

Suite Macabre for MSX, a homebrew adventure game. Goal is to defeat 3 bosses, so figure out in which order to do stuff. This was another fun one to route, had to rethink a few times. Fantastic visuals and overall vibe.

Sofia on MSX, my first MSX run. A lock and key exploration platformer. Really enjoyed routing this one. Tons of hidden items and paths, so interesting to come up with a good path. Reminds me of Super Pitfall and Spelunker, but much faster. ๐ฎ

El Linaje Real on Amstrad. A decent, short platformer. Mostly just make your way thru the stages and fight the boss. A number of jumps are seemingly pixel perfect, so that can be annoying, and the RNG of the final boss is a bit rough. โ๏ธ

Hundra for Amstrad CPC. A short little platformer, run around and collect 3 crystals, then save the king. Controls pretty well, and has those classic Amstrad chunky, colorful pixels. Cool run.

Paw Noir on C64, a puzzle platformer. You are a cat with 9 lives, dying leaves a body behind, use bodies to get to the ball of yarn at the end. I found some creative solutions, nice visuals overall. Similar to Mortol in UFO50. ๐ต๏ธ๐ฑ

Rockman 2025 NY, the annual hack. Another amazing hack from the same person who did Minus Infinity. These really straddle the line between hack and homebrew imo, with how much custom is in it. Just did a few runs. Recommend playing before watching ๐

Speedrun Wrapped for 2024, I ran quite a few games this year. As usual most were routed myself and did not have runs, some were finding big optimizations of existing runs. Share yours in whatever format you want. I will do a 2024 PB replay starting tomorrow morning.
