One year ago, we lost Officer Evan Dunn. This morning, the Golden Police Department, Fire Department, first responders, and staff paused for a moment of radio silence to honor his legacy his legacy of service. #NeverForgotten

Our SROs showed off some gear, lights & sirens (always a fan favorite) and helped students understand everything we do as a department to protect and serve the Wheat Ridge community. Building relationships with our schools is a priority for our department. Thanks for having us!

Our detectives investigated, arrested the suspect and were able to return this ball python to the store last week. We recommended charges for robbery, 3rd-degree assault and theft to our partners at the @FirstDAofCO in this case.

We can’t do this without you and we can’t solve crimes we don’t know about. If you see something, say something and call 911.

We continue to see theft in our community, mainly in the form of shoplifting. We are improving our relationships with our local businesses, so these crimes are reported in a timely action so we can act.
