Many episodes made me emotional, often for very different reasons. This one was bittersweet. Happy for the Barletts for taking on their next chapter. Saddened that the journey, for us, was officially over.

my husband and i just finished our 8th (or 9th?) marathon viewing of The West Wing. have to say the final season actually “feels” a bit more Sorkin-esque than 5 & 6 (no clue why). also? given the lack of Sorkin givens, the final episode was pretty dang... perfect 💫

Tomorrow always makes me think of differences in UK and US political systems. In US the outgoing President gets 3 months to pack their bags and move out. In UK assuming a majority the outgoing PM has to leave overnight
