Friday, May 30th, the WS School Librarians hosted the 3rd Annual District Battle of the Books competition at the WS Public Library.Teams of 4th & 5th-grade students from each Elementary school worked hard reading five books and winning their school-based competitions.

Seniors from the Academies of IT/Digital Media, Business and Finance, and Engineering enjoyed a memorable day at Niagara Falls State Park as a special celebration marking their graduation from their respective academies.

On Tuesday, June 3, 2025 sixty-four sixth grade students and four seventh grade students were inducted into the West Middle National Junior Honor Society. Kylie Ozimek was awarded the top community service award for successfully completing 80 hours.

On Wednesday, June 4th, fifth-grade students from all five elementary schools came together to participate in the District Track Meet. Students showcased their skills in running, throwing, jumping, strength events—and of course, the beloved tug-of-war. It was a fantastic day!
