As we grieve the profound loss of Firefighter Engineer Tim Hall and out of respect for his family, friends, and brothers and sisters here at the West Sacramento Fire Department, we have made the decision to cancel the WSFD Open House which was scheduled for October 5th, 2024.

It is with great sadness that we report West Sacramento Fire Department Fire Engineer Tim Hall, an 18-year veteran with the WSFD, died this morning in the line of duty during a training exercise. Engineer Hall loved this City and bravely served to protect our community.
