Big West is having a terrific non-conference showing thus far. League is 5-1 against Mountain West after UCR win at Colorado State, and 7-0 against Big Sky. UCSD in final of MTE in first year as D1 after wins against LaSalle and James Madison. UC Irvine undefeated after.

UC Riverside goes into Fort Collins and picks up a big buy game victory over Colorado State in overtime. Barrington Hargress with 31 points and a half court buzzer beater to force overtime for the Highlanders. Mike Magpayo’s bunch is always due for a big win like this.
