Kids are AMAZING! Our 4th graders learned about the Texas Revolution and took a field trip to the Alamo, so I said “Let’s build the Alamo in Minecraft Education @PlayCraftLearn. I think I said WOW about 100 times today! @NISDWernli @NISDLib @techcoachsmith

This “old” activity never gets old when sweet kindergarteners experience it for the first time. Loved their excitement and enthusiasm to help save the three pigs AGAIN from the big bad wolf.
The big bad wolf returned today to the @NISDWernli library but couldn’t get to the 3 little pigs! My awesome kindergarteners were collaborators, innovators, and critical thinkers while building the pigs houses. Thank you @Madrigalshelves for such an amazing and engaging activity!

Video game topic to introduce argumentative texts with 5th grade. The reasons we agreed and disagreed with some statements were all valid. Glad to have @lorimshaw in there to help with our discussion.
We have the GREATEST librarian in all of NISD. She creates engaging library lessons that align with grade level content. It was a pleasure to watch a 15 minute walkthrough turn into a 45 minute lesson. Way to go, @Madrigalshelves. @mrsfeldt5 @NISDWernli
