Crews are currently dealing with a large spill of highly flammable liquid in Alveley. Bridge Road is currently closed and Daddlebrook Road is very congested. Please stay away. We ask locals to keep windows and doors closed while we deal with the incident.

PC 22555 Austin and PC 21660 Strangwood have attended William Brookes School today, to speak with the Safe Guarding lead. This meeting was held to assist with identifying persons involved in ongoing Anti-social Behaviour within Much Wenlock, including Arson and Graffiti.

Police Community Support Officers Helen Scott & Malcolm Goddard conducted speed monitoring on the A458 coming into Much Wenlock this afternoon following public concerns. One vehicle was travelling at above the speed limit and will be dealt with appropriately.

A massive thanks to Theo from all at West Mercia Police for helping within the community. He spent hours tidying leaves in Much Wenlock. He was worried someone would slip and hurt themselves. We invited him to the station where he had a tour and was given a goodie bag.
