Next steps are the worst part of the engine I reckon… getting that ring of parts all the way around. As if it couldn’t get harder 🤭. Oh and then about 40 leads to attach 🤪

MiniArt 1/48 P-47 #JFFForSimon . Well the main engine block is together, an extremely fiddly and very tight fit but managed a result I’m very pleased with. Basic weathering done, just some oils and some chipping left. But in the mean time… back to the 109!

Eduard 1/48 Bf 109-F2 #JFFForSimon. Everything that needed RLM02’ing to continue the build has been RLM02’ed. Radiator intakes are always make or break for me with any kit and these are absolutely suuuuuperb by Eduard 👌. Wow good thing there is a PE grill in the rear of that

Getting new shoes for the Speed Twin next week… the Metzeler Racetek’s are a pretty stupid tyre to put on a street bike tbh, especially for the Belgian market. 20 degrees out? Yeah go ahead and lean all you want after 5min of riding. Insane grip. 10 degrees out? Light rain?.

MiniArt P-47 #JFFForSimon. Well this engine is a kit in itself… . RLM02 arrived today for the 109 but before continuing that I want to have the Thunderbolt engine block assembled and weathered before puttng it aside. My brush work is getting better, on small things only though.

Little gate build installed today… don’t talk to me about the height difference, client wanted 2m with 15cm clearance underneath. I tried to convince them to have it the same height as the fence 😅

Almost there. Things have gotten very wet, testing some water too so will see how that comes out . If this works then we'll be left with minor corrections and then the tree plus leaf scatter . #JFFColdWar
