This week we have had our Christmas Party, our parent stay and play's and there has just been lots of festive fun 🎅🌲 Thank you to all the parents for coming along and joining in with our play! ❤

This week in Foxes we have had the start of our Chirstmas Parties, we have been doing tree decorations and reindeer dust for our Christmas bags and we also had our Christmas Lunch! 🎅 Miss Stockman and all the other teachers cannot wait for our fun filled week next week 🌲🎅❤

Our music class on Friday Mornings has been a huge success 🥰

We are getting into the festive spirit 🎅🌲 We have been decorating our Christmas tree, making some Christmas tree's with toilet roll tubes, mark making in the red salt and started our Christmas cards for our families 🥰 Santa Claus is coming to town 🎅

We had a surprise visitor yesterday! The children were very excited to see Santa, he delivered our school christmas tree and we even sang Jingle Bells with him before he went back to The North Pole 🎅🌲🦌

We read a story about an alien who comes from space and how being different is what makes us special, it is called Kosmic Kindness ❤ This has led the children to want to learn about space, so we read whatever next and had a space theme snack ⭐🌑🚀

a HUGE thank you to some builders who came out at the weekend while the weather wasn't very great and cleaned out our sand pit! We are going to develop this area into a bigger construction area for our children! We will post pictures once it is done for you all to see 😊

This week has been a good week in Foxes! We have had UNCRC birthday, some baking, name recognition and we made some paper dolls and read the paper dolls book 😊 Next week we are doing a kindness and inclusion week along with road safety & positional language 🥰

We've been doing lots of letter formation, this is the ability to correctly form the letters of the alphabet. Letter formation is a stepping stone that children will need to overcome before they can start developing their handwriting. This develops their fine motor skills 🥰

Anti- Bullying week last week! We spoke about the importance of being kind and why we need to be kind to our peers ❤ This week is all about kindness and we have a story to read called "Kosmic Kindness" about the importance of being kind 🥰

SMILE 😁 We have had childsmile in over the last couple of days to give us the run down on our teeth! The children seemed to really enjoy this and it has been constant discussion regarding our teeth! 🥰

Some of our children went a walk to Prestonpans Monument after our discussions regarding Remembrance Day today! This can help young children develop a sense of empathy and appreciation ❤

Today we decided to have our own little Diwali celebrations! We gave each other some blueberry tattoos (henna), we had some yummy curry for snack, had colourful rice play and also made our own flatbread for the curry! .Productive and Eventful Day in Foxes ❤
