Why didn't I do this sooner?. Another perk to Android: mobile plugin support 😁

This is almost exactly how I feel about coding with AI. Sure it makes some things faster, but it makes the whole experience more frustrating and disconnects me from the code I'm "writing". Makes code easier to write, but way harder to debug

Slowly replacing every interactive component in my vault with a Base. Here's my new project view: I use the tab module to separate out views, but I might get rid of it. Since Bases have views built-in, it feels unnecessary

I love adding new notes to my vault. BUT even better than that: when I don't need to. I go to add a note, only to find that it already exists!. Happens a lot more than you would think.

One of my favorite parts of PKM is storing random bits of technical information that I would NEVER remember, but will probably need at some point in the future. Yeah AI can help with that, but I trust this method a lot more, because I've already vetted the results.

Lead magnets really do work!. My newsletter growth had stagnated until I offered a free product for new sign-ups. That one simple change increased my monthly subs from ~20 to ~100. 5x more sign-ups from such a simple change!.

Finally getting around to properly styling Obsidian Rocks. The previous theme was always meant to be temporary. Three years later, here we are 😊. This is just a start, but I'm excited about where we're heading!

Updating my Simple Bookshelf next week, adding in a much more efficient method for creating book notes. This makes the whole process less fiddly and annoying. I can now search for and create a new book notes in moments, instead of minutes

Big update coming for my Simple Bookshelf!. I'm making it better than ever before. I've had nothing but positive feedback, but I'm not letting that stop me from continuing to refine it 🥳

I'm building a wiki with Obsidian Publish. My first time using it. I've got to say: it's nice. I didn't realize how flexible it would be with choosing what to deploy, and what not to. Hands down one of the easiest website creation tools I've used!

The "MediaDB" plugin is pretty neat. WAY more metadata than I would ever need is available, for shows, films, games, even music and books!. It requires an API key, but the top api is free for up to 1,000 queries per day. Pretty nice!

Yeah I'm probably a dinosaur, but I don't know why people like this. So much repetition and redundancy

My first Obsidian plugin, now available in community plugins!. I built this for users of my Simple Bookshelf. This will make the installation process so much easier. Excited to start using it!
