One of the great joys of my career was directing this feature. Being with Nick when he met Trey, then hanging with Nick at his first Phish show made for one helluva good day. I’m saddened by his sudden passing, and I’m heartbroken for his family. I’ll never forget him.

I wonder how many people through time wouldn't love football as much as they do without the efforts of Ed and Steve Sabol. NFL Films had me in a headlock when I was a little kid, and that's still the case.
December 30, 1962 Ed Sabol's @NFLFilms (then called Blair Motion Pictures) launches. After a $3,000 bid won him the rights to film the '62 NFL Championship, Sabol and his crew brave the harsh, icy Bronx winds to shoot their first production, titled "Pro Football's Longest Day".
