Sight word inventions collaborative project with GMS CTE student and GES kindergarten students. GES students recorded their voices and then using electronics created by GMS students the GES students could hear their own voices pronouncing the words on the board. Awesome !

Delegate David Owen stopped by and visited with the students today who are part of the award winning Goochland High school robotics team, The Junkyard Dogs. Delegate Owen is a big supporter of robotics and CTE. This was a great experience for our students and we thank him!

Today we recognized GHS students who will enter the workforce or military after graduation in May. Thanks to Congressman McGuire and Delegate Owen for bringing remarks and congratulations to our students. CTE is preparing our students for great jobs after high school! Well done

The GHS culinary arts students catered the reception for the Goochland Education Foundation essay contest at the Luck Companies. Essay winners from all 3 elementary schools were given an award from the GEF and the Goochland Rotary club. Congratulations to all!

GHS seniors and second year CTE students participated in mock interviews today. Students were interviewed by members of our business community and school leadership. Students showed up for their interviews in professional attire and with their resumes in hand! A great day!!
