The Plants Brook runs into Blackroot Pool. Eventually, these waters join the Tame, Trent and Humber then the North Sea. We must protect our waters from source to sea @stwater @EnvAgencyMids @CRTWestMidlands @KeepBritainTidy @SuttonParkNNR

We joined the @WKWT and the Friends of @ACWCS Wedge for some very interesting Water fly, training and recording - recording different the species is an effective way of monitoring the quality of the water and the health of the rivers.

We shouldn’t have to do it, but we do. We do it because we can’t bear our beautiful river to be treated like this. Massive thanks to our volunteers who shifted an unfathomable amount of rubbish from the River Roding in Ilford today. This is love & service for nature in action

Rubbish idea! Resourceful WatersideCare volunteers adapted this fishing trolley to carry heavy bags of litter long distances over uneven ground. Talking Rubbish operate around the pools in Sutton Park @stwater @EnvAgencyMids @CRTWestMidlands @KeepBritainTidy @SuttonParkNNR
