As we return to the Hall after the Christmas break we wish all our Freemen & apprentices a very Happy New Year. We begin the year with Quarterly Court & Lunch followed by Courts of Binding & Admissions & sold-out Burns Night Supper. We look forward to seeing you throughout 2026.

Today we host the Dolphin Committee’s Christmas lunch, our final festive event. We thank all our Freemen & apprentices for your support & we remember those we’ve lost this year & honour the legacies they leave behind. Happy Christmas to you all & a peaceful New Year.

Yesterday evening we held our Company Christmas Carol Service with the Worshipful Companies of Woolmen & Bakers at All Hallows by the Tower. Led by The Revd Nicol Kinrade with prayers by The Rt Revd David Urquhart KCMG & outstanding choral contribution from Ovis Cantorum.

Today we went afloat to honour & remember the men and women of the Thames who gave their lives for our freedom, in war and in service upon the river. Joined by a #flotilla of river operators & emergency services, we held a solemn #remembrance service. #LestWeForget

A fantastic morning at the Hall as the #Doggetts prepare to take part in the Lady Mayor’s Show. Joining the parade alongside Bargemaster, @robbiecoleman1 are Master Sean Collins, our 2025 winner Coran Cherry and many of our past Doggett’s winners. It’s set to be a #great day!

Lady Mayor’s Show 2025 This weekend Dame Susan Langley DBE will become the 697th head of the City of London Corporation, the first to hold the title Lady Mayor. Bargemaster @robbiecoleman1 leads the Doggett’s winners ahead of the State Coach, look out for them in the parade!

This afternoon marks the Annual National Service for Seafarers at St Paul’s Cathedral. Organised by @trinityhouse_uk & @Seafarers_KGFS. Company Bargemaster @robbiecoleman1 & apprentices Jack Haworth & Lilly Madden will take part in the Colour Party carrying the Company’s colours.
