Earlier today, the CEO Prof. Julius Tanui joined Eng. Festus Ngeno, PS Environment & Climate Change for the World Metrological Day at Nyagajo, Kericho County. Every 23rd March, the World Meteorological Organization marks the day since 1951.

Hon. @EchesaRashid today chaired a board retreat in Naivasha. PS @Eng_F_Ngeno, @Environment_Ke joined the Board of Directors in the retreat that reviewed the progress made on amending the Forest Management and Conservation Act, 2016.

Kenya Water Towers Agency signs an MoU with Mama Doing Good Initiative. This is aimed at producing 3 million tree seedlings. KWTA donated 3 million bags for the nursery establishment across the county by women and youth. Mama Doing Good has over 200,000 registered members.

Prof Julius Tanui, joins the HOPS Mr. Felix Kosgey for the National Tree Growing season launch at Bomas, Ngong Forest. Board Director Ms. Rose Ombaki represented the Board of the Agency while a team of staff members were led by the CEO in planting over 15,000 trees.

Prof. Julius Tanui, CEO, today joined Mr. Felix Kosgey, the Head of Public Service and Chief of Staff in a tree planting drive at Kapkongony Swamp in Nandi County. 5,000 tree seedlings planted and 10,000 distributed to the locals. The agency donated one million potting bags.
