A few thoughts on the NYC mayoral debate: First, kudos to the moderators. One of the best moderated debates I have seen with excellent questions. On @ZohranKMamdani: It is now abundantly clear he is completely full of it. The whole thing is an act. Just look at the identical

The Gifted & Talented program gave thousands of Black and Brown kids a real shot to excel. That’s progress we should be building on, not tearing down. Expand it to more children, not fewer. And let’s be real, you went to a specialized high school, @ZohranKMamdani . Why take away

Day one for Kamala Harris was 1,400 days ago. If she actually believed in anything she promised to do during this campaign, she would've done it already. President Trump will secure the border and save our economy. Make sure you vote tomorrow🇺🇸

It shows people having no more income in real terms than they had when Biden took office. You would not expect a president to be reelected with zero income growth. And the balance sheet impact shows up in the savings rate data, which is historically low.
This graph shows people having more disposable income than any point in history outside of when they literally couldn't leave to buy things and the government was sending them stimulus checks. It does not show "balance sheets in bad shape." That's an insane reading

Those celebrating 4% inflation have a fundamental misunderstanding of inflation, which is a measure of the rate of cost increases not the total cost. Prices are not falling. They are continuing to rise and compounding inflation under President Biden has surpassed 16%.
