It’s the 50th anniversary of the “Rudy” game tomorrow. I likely have one of the more extensive collections from that game. Well, I’m selling it all. The story and the person has soured on me. https://t.co/Dr27CuqWTT

Do I still have cards subject to the Enhanced Security Fee? Absolutely (Some might be overpriced too, I don't care! ping me if interested)

By spending about 20 minutes just going thru those 400+ listings on that single view, I got my items subject to the fee down to sub-200. In none of these cases did I feel I was compromising on the value of the card, and I even got a few quick sales from the price fixes!

However, here's the turn: as I went thru my listings yeah some merited $100/$500/$1K+ price tags... There were also relics of 2021 that were priced at $52 & not moving Countless cards (mainly Bowman Prospects & NBA Silvers) were +$100 while comparable ones were avail for $7

Thankfully, it's not exactly something COMC is trying to hide In your dashboard, you can filter to just items subject to the fee very easily The first time I did, there were +400 Items I had that were subject to the fee Again... 😀 or 🥸, depends on you

Is that high? Is that low? I don't know. But it is my money. So I went back to see what that fee is for: "Applies only to items with a List Price of $50.01 or more" and also noticed that 1¢ is PER DAY on those items... that can add up quick

I sell enough expensive cards on COMC that I had never dove in to it before myself, always just chalked it up to "I'm doing fine and profiting every month, let's not line-item it all." For some reason, this month, I just thought I'd review it. -> $16.32 a month

On the surface, it's incredibly nominal - 1¢ for every $1,000 you have listed... no big deal right? If you are a small seller, it's super tiny. If you are a huge seller, it's a small fraction seemingly.

So, what is it? The answer lies in this incredibly boring and a bit confusing fee, the Enhanced Security Fee

Well, sixty bucks is sixty bucks, so yeah, this meant a lot to me to realise overall that I could make a few easy changes and save this much money.

2nd - you may be thinking, "$60 in fees??? That's all this build up was for, $60 a year???"

Ok, after 10 Years selling on COMC, I just learned a trick (or detail) that is going to save me ~$60 a year in fees moving forward.

Let’s be clear: bidding on your own cards is WRONG. There’s no gray area here. It’s WRONG. Don’t do it.

Beverly Hills gets its own Collectibles store this Friday, led by major LA hospitality investors. Canon Collectibles. With support from Michael Rubin, expect this to be a major hub for trading cards. Will this include a presence for game worn artifacts? Time will tell. ⏳
