Why not challenge your family with this quiz around the campfire, on the beach blanket, in the boat, or in your accommodation if it rains? #Waskesiu #PrinceAlbertNP
Can you pass this quiz without peeking at your wallet? Test your knowledge of the symbols and people on Canadian currency. https://t.co/toBEzQlcQ1

Indigenous names or their English translations are used for place names in #PrinceAlbertNationalPark. Amiskowan Lake, on the Narrows Road, means "home of the beaver". Yellow Pond Lily and Water Persecaria inhabit this calm lake making it ideal for a peaceful paddle. #Waskesiu

Recent artifact acquisition-a souvenir for a thrifty vacationer. Does anyone remember these? What year might these souvenirs have been for sale? Note the sale price is only 50 cents as opposed to the regular price on the back of $2.98. #Waskesiu #PrinceAlbertNP

In National Indigenous History Month, we reflect on residents of the area who were displaced by the creation of #PrinceAlbertNationalPark in 1928. This photo is Louis Lavallée, a Métis man who settled his family on the shores of Pelican Lake, now called Lavallée Lake after him.
