We had a lovely day today celebrating our wonderful Year 13 students before they start the final preparations for their summer examinations. We are so very proud of them all and enjoyed sharing and creating memories with together. Good luck Year 13!
Year 12 Chemists had a great lesson with Mrs Eades this morning focusing on bond shapes. Students have previously found spacial awareness challenging so they have been using sticks to represent bond shapes and angles. Students now really understand this!

Wow what a day! Our first careers fayre was an unbelievable success! All students in the school visited the fayre throughout the day and were able to engage with the many exhibitors present. Thank you to all of the exhibitors who attended. We can’t wait for the next one!
Today we launched our new Culture Reading programme with staff! We are prioritising reading comprehension and providing structured opportunities for Oracy as part of our school literacy drive. We can’t wait to issue students with their new reading books tomorrow!

Last week our Year 8 and 9 students took part in a Handball tournament across the trust and took 2nd place in the boys competition and 3rd place in the girls competition. Well done all!
Year 12 mocks begin this morning, giving our sixth form students valuable exam experience after last year’s cancelled GCSEs.

YR 7 enjoyed STEM challenges at RAF Cosford with a range of hands on activities and some amazing teamwork involving rockets, rovers and asteroids. It was great to see them so excited to learn. Well Done Year 7!

Our Head of YR9 and SLT Link have been extremely happy and proud this week! YR 9 Students had the best attendance in the school! Well done to Y9 and thank you to our families who continue to ensure that our young people attend school everyday!
Today Year 10 and 12 students participated in an assembly on apprenticeships as part of their wider careers programme. Students were able to explore what an apprenticeship is, the various levels available and the types of industry they can find them in.
We cannot wait to launch our brand new rewards with our students tomorrow! We are excited to reward students who display our Waseley ETHIC’s. The countdown has begun!

30 of our Year 7 students have taken part in and have throughly enjoyed the expertise knowledge of the bankers from the Morgan Stanley Project. We will now assist these teams to work on their business idea, very similar experience to the Dragon’s Den, to present to the investors!
