Misinformation or disinformation? @WSJโs China lead botched 2 major stories that had ๐ฏ๐ต, ๐บ๐ธ and even ๐จ๐ณ officials correcting her work *in one week* and *in real time.* She blocked X users who pointed out the errors. Whatever that is, itโs not journalism. @WSJ must do better.
One way to tell misinformation is that purveyors cling to a story even when it is clear the story in some way is fundamentally flawed. As I regularly say, we are always updating our priors. Let's take the WSJ Trump call as an example. Assume it was completely true as reported.

Only in China do you see something this damn sickening: A biker gets slammed by a bus, lying in the middle of the road โ and everyone just drives around him like heโs trash on the pavement. Cars, scooters, pedestriansโฆ all acting blind. Nobody stops. Nobody helps. Nothing.

@WarrenVsCCP Similar thing in abu dhabi -my friend worked there for 5 years.He got told dont stop and help as the police and family of the injured or dead will think you were involved and will blame you.
