In October, some of our colleagues are taking part in the Barnardos 350000 steps challenge. Barnardo’s are on a mission to make a difference in the lives of children living in poverty. Every step we take is a step towards providing essentials to these children.

🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈We had a fantastic day meeting soo many people (and dogs!)at this year’s @WarksPride Warwickshire Pride event. It was such a special day to be a part of. We got visitors to our stall to think about and, if they felt comfortable to, share ‘What pride means to them’.

Last year’s Warwickshire Pride was such a success, we cannot wait for this weekend. The festival is a colourful celebration of LGBT+ life and culture. It also highlights the injustices that LGBT+ people still face locally and around the world. We’ll be there from 11-6!

Many people-adults-will say that ‘no’ is enough, which it is and should be. But many of our young people don’t have the confidence to say so. Or peer pressure can amount for them until they feel unable to. By setting boundaries with their words, they can develop such skills.

Another example of work that we do with our young people. Not just educating them on what exploitation is and recognising the signs of it and giving them tools to deal with exploiters but also tools on how to deal with uncomfortable situations !#warwickshirece
