Many folks' electric bills have doubled, and one senior I spoke to had their bill go up by FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS in just one month. It's outrageous, unconscionable & unsustainable. We need change & we need a diverse/expanded energy grid.

It was a pleasure taking time to speak with some up and coming students at Monmouth University today. Too often, public service gets a bad rap because of crooked, ineffective, & self-interested politicians, so it was good to talk with some young people about government & civics!

We need to cap property taxes &bring down energy bills! But rather than discuss those issues, our opponents instead launch personal attack ads against US. I wouldn't want to discuss my record either if I increased property taxes & cut $18 million in school funding like they did!
