Congratulations to #Ward5’s own! How awesome! We want to be just like Curtis when we grow up!
This morning I introduced a ceremonial resolution to recognize Curtis Lawrence, III for his academic achievement of being dually enrolled at @SWWHSA & @GWtweets at only 14-years old. He turns 15 today. Congratulations & happy birthday to this accomplished young man! We are proud.

A huge win for Ward 5 was the relaunch of the @Ward5EdCouncil. Great meeting tonight. Thanks @DMEforDC, @MySchoolDC, Principal Wormsley (@Luke_C_Moore) and Principal Davis (@BrowneEC) for sharing. And huge shoutout to these four ladies for committing to take the org further.
