For anyone in the wallops island area who heard a loud boom earlier today The Navy and Air Force were doing drone testing off the coast today and fighters were probably involved. I assume it was a T38 or F22 going super sonic NOT an explosion as originally thought.

The wallops visitor center is being closed on October 1st .

NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and Wallops Flight Facility employees have received notice of closures slated for October 1st, including the Wallops Visitor Center in Accomack County.

A new USCG NAV warning has been issued scheduled to start on august 17th at 9:45pm EST. This does not match the previous location for HASTE’s but the start time is the same.

Interesting flight pattern from a aircraft over wallops. I assume this was Rocket Lab taking pictures of the neutron pad and production site from the air based on where the plane was circling!

HASTE remains horizontal. Considering that the transport trailer isn’t at the ICF I assume the rocket is still at the pad just possibly being stored in the trailer!

The neutron pad continues to have work on it hopefully tracking towards a launch near the end of this year!

Went by the ICF again and the trailer used to move HASTE/electron to the pad is still not there.
