We know here in New Hampshire that more and more young people are rural by choice and see rural as "the middle of everywhere.". But there's a narrative out there that young people only want to live in large cities.

I'm all for collecting data, but let's collect it for more than a month before unfurling the "mission accomplished" banner.

If anything is moving any numbers it's the extra police patrols which allow for the enforcement of previously existing ordinances governing park behavior and drug use, as well as active warrant arrests.

Of the 150 citations issued, only 3 were for "camping" in parks, which the new ordinance in question aims to curb.

This headline is misleading at best, as even a cursory glance at our downtown parks shows no apparent reduction in unhoused individuals there.
