That said however, it is the umpires final decision and if they turn up and the ground isn’t suitable to play, then they will make the final call and we ask all teams/players to respect this decision. Thanks. Any questions or queries then please ask away.

All teams need to visit their pitch as close as possible to 5-5.30pm on the day of the game to check suitability for playing and communicate with the umpires and the opposing team through their Captains chat. This will prevent wasted trips!

'Twas a glorious day & we enjoyed our friendly with @Thornhill_thunderbats. Great batting & sharp fielding on display from both teams. Seems we're all honing our skills ahead of the @readystdyactive & @WYRLeague games! Hoping there's less interference from the rain this year!!

@batleyninjettes held their first ever tournament for young girls in January 2022 and it was a huge success.

We are now working with Mick to help us get rounders back into school games by getting more schools to put teams together for our future Young Girls Rounders Tournament, or hopefully get girls into after school rounders or other sports!!

We had 5 schools attend the School Games Organiser at Batley Tennis Centre on Tuesday, with a total of 50 girls attending! That is great first attendance Batley Ninjettes have already had multiple parents get in touch after yesterday to get their daughters signed up for rounders

There is a small hesitation in getting young girls in the Batley&Birstall area into after school activities and we are hoping we can help make that first break into easing them into sports.

Another fantastic opportunity opened up to rounders through Batley Ninjas. We were asked for guidance and help from Mick Troop, @SGNKssp Games Organiser of Batley&Birstall on how we could get young girls in school, active through rounders.

On 31 March Siddeequah of @BatGirlsRC is running rounders open to all students and @UniLeedsStaff Don't worry if you've never played rounders or if you can only vaguely remember it from year 8 in school! We've got a fun (re)introduction to this sport 🥎
