Storm Joseph on Iberia... This will be a typical winter storm with very strong winds on the coast, peaking on Wednesday as a secondary low approaches from the West. Tremendous amounts of rain will fall in the next few days, leading to an overload to the rivers and the soil. +

Portugal warnings update. The red wind warnings have spread to 3 more districts, if you're in the red area expect winds around 140km/h in exposed areas.

This is going to be bad. It will be a violent night for those in the coast, but especially in the Porto, Aveiro and Coimbra district where the wind gusts can reach 140 km/h!

A wind threath has been increasing for Portugal... Storm Joseph will strike Portugal with very strong winds on Wednesday, Jan 28. Winds above 100Km/h are likely in the coast, the most affected area remains an incognita but we could expect it anywhere from Lisbon to Porto.
