In FY 2014, 35% of one (Cleveland-style) voucher program's recipients were from low-income backgrounds, but by FY 2023, this number had decreased to 7% For another (EdChoice), the percentage of low-income students receiving vouchers dropped from 32% in FY 2014 to 15% in FY 2023

And did you know yesterday was National Bus Driver Appreciation Day? Waive and say “Thank You!” when you see them go by. Our drivers do a GREAT job! @FPSchools
You may see our school buses driving around town this week. Our drivers are completing bus inspections and we want to ensure the buses do not sit for any longer period of time than they currently are. If you see a bus driver around, give them a wave! 👋 They miss our students!

The State of the Community has been tentatively rescheduled for Tuesday, August 25 (depending upon executive order and guidance provided by the state).
Tonight would have been our State of the Community Address and Open House at the FHS/MMS campus. Construction was delayed by just a few weeks because of the executive order, but it's ALMOST DONE! Check out the new cafeteria and innovation center!:
