WVU Tech will operate on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 and will open at 10:00 a.m. (Code B) All essential personnel are to report at the start of their regular shift. All other employees should report by 10:00 a.m.

WVU Tech will operate on a 2hr Code B delay on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023 and will open at 10 a.m. Final exams scheduled for 8-9:50 a.m. will be rescheduled. All essential personnel report at the start of their regular shift. All other employees should by 10 a.m.

We’re super proud of students like Fayth Laxton who go above and beyond to help their fellow Golden Bears thrive. Fayth recently received a $7,500 Youth Empowerment Grant through the Collegiate Strategic Prevention Framework Partnerships for Success.

Dr. Fu is assistant professor of mechanical engineering. She received $39,600 for a FANUC CRX-i5A industrial collaborative robot which will be used to enhance our manufacturing automation curriculum. COBOT will give our students a leg up in taking on careers in manufacturing.

Dr. Cook is assistant professor of psychology. She received $16,008 to establish an animal model of drug self-administration to help students better understand substance use issues.
