Round two had been concluded and the Holden Bears finished with a team score of 290 (+2). Round three was suspended due to thr rain and course conditions. Heidar Bjarnason (-2) and Alvaro Iglesias (-1) finished top 25 against tough field.

Play has been suspended for Round 2 due time darkness. Tech is currently -5 through 11 holes of the 2nd round to put them at +1 for the tournament and tied for 10th with Bethel (TN) out of 19 teams. Alvaro Iglesias 🇪🇸 & Heidar Bjarnason 🇮🇸 are currently -3 through the 2nd rd.

Freshman Heidar Bjarnason has been named the River States Conference Golfer of the Week after capturing medalist honors at the RSC Fall Preview! 🏆 Bjarnason fired rounds of 69–71 (–4) to top a 97-player field and lead WVU Tech to its second straight team championship. 🔥

In addition to winning the team title at this week's RSC Fall Preview, the Golden Bears of @wvutechsports claimed the individual title! Freshman Heidar Bjarnason won the title thanks to a four under par score, which included a 31 on the front nine of the final round!
