Expect multiple visiting engines and our regular home fleet to be in action hauling trains to an intensive timetable. Double heading, local trains and goods trains will all feature.

The Turntable café at Minehead will now be closed for the winter period. However it will be open specially for Dunster by candlelight on Friday the 2nd & Saturday the 3rd of December from 15:00 - 21:15 with hot drinks & snacks available.

This date celebrates the anniversary of the first steam powered passenger railway which took place on 27th September 1825 - the first passenger train ran on a line in the North East of England from Darlington to Stockton.
