It’s convenient for development initiatives to limit their reach to Monrovia because of variant some-what valid reasons, but we can’t continue to leave behind rural Liberians. It impedes our collective hope and mission for change. Everyone deserves a chance.

Everyone has the capacity to learn but require the opportunity to do so We’ve been able to see how transformative extending our programs beyond Monrovia can be for marginalized persons; especially within the community we serve #williettesafehouse #emancipatefellowshipprogram2022

We’ve been intentional in training our tutors to purposefully cater to the learning needs of each pupil; a methodology that unfortunately, isn’t common in schools around Liberia. Let’s change the learning disparity towards the disabled community. #williettesafehouse

A class day is never complete without the dynamic duo of a facilitator and a sign language interpreter. We are thankful to these skilled professionals who make it possible to bridge the communication gap with our serviced communities. #williettesafehouse

He’s a member of the Liberian Albino Society, who completed our fellowship program in 2020, and was hired thereafter as a teacher’s aid in 2021. This is the first time an individual from the Albino Society has worked with a beauty brand like Glow Salon in Liberia

Our hairdressing course has been an exciting addition to the program for the fellows. This learning & self care combo is a proven boost of confidence and fun way to engage even the most timid of the fellows. #williettesafehouse #emancipatefellowshipprogram2022
