Shape hunting outside was a hit 🙌🏽. We found lots of 2D shapes and ticked them off on our sheets. Who knew there were so many shapes around us 🤗 #mathsoutside

The Year 6 children are up and buzzing after a great night’s sleep! A hearty breakfast of beans, bacon, hash browns, toast, and cereal has set them up perfectly for today’s adventures.

Day 2: The children absolutely loved body boarding in the waves, skiing, canoeing and beck scrambling (much bigger than Welton Beck, apparently!). After tuck shop, chilling and even sledging in the dark, they must be tired now…an early night for teachers, right? 😅

Everyone’s energised after (mostly!) a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast. Groups are getting ready for a busy morning - some skiing, some body boarding, and others canoeing! Equipment prepped and off we go for another great day of adventure!

We’ve arrived safely at East Barnby! Beds are made (with varying degrees of success 😄), and everyone enjoyed a brilliant tea. Now we’re heading out for our evening activity - an Alien Hunt around the site! 👽

As you can tell by their smiling, joyful, happy little faces, Year 4 LOVED being treated like Victorian school children this week… 😆

Year 6 travelled back in time for Victorian Day! They learnt the value of a penny, practised object drawing, took part in PE drills, explored scripture, and wrote about their dwelling houses — just as children once did here in Welton, as shown in our old log books!

Dear parents and carers, a courteous reminder that Victorian Day is tomorrow. Please ensure your child’s boots are clean and polished, and note that Victorian dress is optional - the school bell waits for no one. ⏰👢

Fantastic afternoon with our Year 6s! After weeks of developing their football skills, they put it all into action in a mini tournament. Great to see competitiveness, participation and brilliant sportsmanship on display throughout! 👏
