Jon Moxley has won the 2022 Wrestling Observer Newsletter Lou Thesz/Ric Flair Wrestler of The Year Award for the 2nd time (1st win in 2020). He goes back on the 2023 WON HOF Ballot and is now the only Wrestler of the Year award winner not in the WON HOF.

Will Ospreay has won the 2022 WON Most Outstanding Wrestling of the Year Award for the 2nd time (1st in 2019). While he is not eligible for the WON HOF Ballot (29 yrs old, 12 years exp.), he has a good shot once n the ballot as only 5 wrestlers including him to not be in the HOF.

it did explode as in 2018, there were 288 voters in the Modern US/Canada region. 137 people voted for him then.
In 2021, 148 people voted for him but there was 458 voters in the region.

Tetsuya Naito has 61.82% and Kota Ibushi has 60%. Sgt. Slaughter is knocking on the door at 59.38% with Bobby Davis and Junkyard Dog having 55.36% and 54.69% respectively.
We are not saying that these acts are getting inducted but the public ballot is good indicator.

Not saying that our public tracker is the end all projection as last year Kenny Omega had 22.58% of the public ballot votes vs 61% of the actual votes along with Karloff Lagarde with 45% vs 61% of the actual votes. However, our tracker gives a good indicator to who is heading in.

Bobby Davis on the public ballots was 55.36% and ended up with 45%. Davis had 56% last year.

Other notable acts to watch out for in terms of possible inductees are Big Daddy as he has 48% and is in the 15th year on the ballot (15/50% Rule), Johnny Saint and George Kidd with both having 48% and Sangre Chicana with 46.43% of the public ballot.
