Well done to Willis T in year 8 who valiantly took on the role of Henry V today to inspire our English class with his amazing inspirational and persuasive speech!

Year 9 English students have been creating 3D representations of the plot and themes of An Inspector Calls. By attaching the abstract concepts from the text to a concrete thing (and a practical experience) their memory of this golden knowledge is consolidated and easier to recall

We have taken delivery of our new WMA @SHARE_MAT mini bus this morning and as you can see Mr Woodford is delighted! Our first trip our took our year 10’s to army training and will be back later to collect them. 🙌

We had the delight of being welcomed into our celebration house assembly by our KS3 choir this morning. We then cheered our way through the many form groups, houses and individuals who achieved so much this term. Well done everyone. What a great way to end the academic year!

After inspiring each other with their speeches yesterday, today Y8 have been bringing Shakespeare to life again by reenacting the Battle of Agincourt from Henry V to inform their understanding of the text, and help with their independent writing about the plot and characters.
