We are excited to announce a unique @WHInteraction event happening in a few weeks. @QuantumTheatre is staging the North American premiere of the one-man play THE RETURN OF BENJAMIN LAY and Marcus Rediker and @markpovinelli will be joining us to meet our students.

Our Read-a-Thon isn't just about reading—it's about connecting through stories. There's magic in being read to.

Today we introduced JAMES to our students in preparation for a visit by the one and only Percival Everett this spring! Thank you to our friends at @PghArtsLectures for purchasing copies of the book and for coordinating his visit to Woodland Hills.

Back in 2022 we hosted @stewartonan to discuss his novel OCEAN STATE. In the coming weeks, we are studying the book again with a new group of students - we can't wait for them to enter the world of Ashaway, RI and the spend time with Angel, Marie, and Birdy.

Our remote library locker is brimming with books! With their library cards, our students can request books, video games, and more from any public library in Allegheny Co. Thanks to Ms. Amy from @CCMellorLibrary for visiting and showing our students how to navigate the catalog.

Last week @WHInteraction welcomed Tony McAleer & Peter Hutchison for a powerful event and conversation about THE CURE FOR HATE. We were also joined by students from Dickson Intermediate STEAM Academy and Deer Lakes High School. Thank you to Film Pittsburgh!
