Wrapping up our series of interviews from the #ClimateScanner side event at #COP29, Secretary General of the INTOSAI WGEA, @VNiemenmaa reflects on the ClimateScanner tool as being especially relevant to SAIs that are new to climate-related audit work.

At #COP29, Camilla Fredriksen from @INTOSAI_IDI highlighted the importance of supporting SAIs in building capacities to ensure that they can perform their role in assessing governments' #ClimateAction.

After our panel at #COP29, in relation to climate finance, Marc-Oliver Heidkamp from @EUauditors states that more funding is needed in #ClimateAction . Auditors play a key role in assessing whether funding goes where it is most effective.

At #COP29, Ramona Bortnowschi from @EUauditors highlighted the universality of the #ClimateScanner and ECA's commitment, along with other Executive Group members of the initiative, to keep the tool relevant in audit work.

#ClimateScanner is seen as a valuable tool by SAIs. Elaborating this from the perspective of SAI India was Director General Gurveen Sidhu from the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India at #COP29.

Our panellist at the #ClimateScanner side event at #COP29, Dr. Judite Tânia Baptista Ali from the Mozambique Administrative Court, emphasized the commitment, collaboration and action of SAIs in reference to governments' #ClimateAction.
