Back in September , CCTV captured a taxi driver inhaling an illegal substance whilst in charge of their taxi. The footage was sent to the relevant licensing authority. Today, we’ve been informed that the driver’s taxi license has been revoked. #CCTV

Following a serious assault on another male last night, four male suspects were located and tracked via CCTV and police were informed of their locations . All four were subsequently arrested on suspicion of assault. #CCTV

Early hours of this morning,CCTV was made aware of a male acting suspicious around a motor bike. CCTV conducted an area search and located the male taking the motor bike. Police were notified and the male was stopped and arrested on suspicion of theft of the motor bike. #CCTV

Early hours of this morning, CCTV assisted the Police by identifying 5 males involved with an incident in Leamington town. This resulted in all 5 males getting arrested on suspicion of affray. #CCTV

Warwickshire Police contacted CCTV passing details of a male who had been reported missing, observations were passed over the retail radio and within 30 minutes the missing male was located by one of the WDC Community Wardens. Excellent work by our Community Warden! #CCTV

Last night, CCTV operators identified a male suspect involved in an incident where threats were made towards shop staff. He was monitored until police arrived. Following a search, officers recovered a knife and drugs. The suspect was arrested. #CCTV

Police shared details of a missing person with CCTV operators, who then relayed the information to WDC Community Wardens. Within 30 minutes, the wardens successfully located the individual. Police attend and took the missing person back home. Job well done! #CCTV

2/2 Police were notified of his location and attended the scene, where they arrested him for possession of an offensive weapon. #CCTV

1/2 Yesterday evening, CCTV operators received reports of a male on The Parade suspected of carrying a knife. A search of the area was conducted, and a male matching the description was found in possession of a knife. #CCTV

3/3 They both were arrested on suspicion on theft and the driver was also arrested on suspicion of assault and failing to stop for Police.

2/3 As officers approached the driver, he drove off, dragging one of the officers to the ground in the process. The vehicle was tracked via CCTV to Warwick, where it was safely brought to a stop.

1/3 Earlier today, CCTV identified a vehicle linked to a shop theft. Police were directed to the vehicle’s location, where they engaged with the passenger who had already gotten out of the vehicle.

During the early hours of this morning, Police contacted CCTV operators to review footage of a suspected domestic incident involving a male and a female. The individuals were located on camera, and after reviewing the footage, the male was arrested on suspicion of assault. #CCTV

This weekend, the WDC Community Wardens provided excellent support to CCTV, managing several alcohol-related incidents in Leamington on both Friday and Saturday. Their quick and effective response made a real difference when it was most needed. #CCTV
