Making your Mark takes place on Sat, June 14th 9:30am - 4pm in Limerick city and is designed for women who want to be more active and influence positive change in their communities. It will include elements of community leadership, building connections and gender equality. 1/

Today, we mark the one-year anniversary of the death of our friend and colleague, Edel Geraghty. She is greatly missed by all at the Women's Collective and wider community. Edel is still guiding our work and in our thoughts. 1/

The event will include presentations from three guest speakers, one focusing on the Local Council, one on National Government and the other on how to navigate the Irish political system from a migrant perspective. There will be plenty of time for audience interaction and Q&A.

We were sadden to hear of the death of Noirín De Barra. Noirín had been a friend of the Women's Collective for the last few years. She was particularly interested in our Creative Writing classes & was one of the fab women who had her short story included in our 2022 publication,
