I am so fucking tired of having to constantly baby and coddle white people that sit in their own little bubbles and have developed the mindset that they aren't racist just because they aren't calling BIPOC people slurs. All they do is whine instead of correcting their bullshit

For some reason BIPOC people are just expected to have limitless patience for the ignorance of whites, and yet I am never afforded the same. The moment my patience expires, I am left to kick rocks and seen as aggressive.

Having to constantly be braced and in a position to "educate", "teach" whites out of this ignorance is exhausting and incredibly frustrating as a constant experience. I'm sorry, I can't always be calm and collected when I experience racism.

Somehow it's acceptable for white people to be ignorant to the point they practice covert racism, yet completely unaware of this. So forgive my low tolerance with white people. That same level of grace is never afforded to people like me.

I've struggled with the idea because I don't have much attachment to Neon yet. I don't just want to draw her as a ship vessel.
