Classic team who cried wolf. Every time a tackle was made, the Liverpool players stayed on the ground until a free kick was given or the game stopped. Thats the dirty tactic. So when there’s actually a foul, no one cares. Fwiw, if he hadn’t scored, would’ve been a pen for sure.
Isak scored so it wasn't made a big deal at the time, but Van de Ven should've been sent off for this. Disgusting tackle.

I’ve been saying this since day one of VAR. Rules of the game have consciously (handball) and unconsciously (slo-mo) changed the laws of the game. And in absolutely no way has it improved. In fact, the introduction of taking refs has compounded the stupidity.
For me that's a slow-motion red but never a real-time red. But the laws were not written to withstand modern technological scrunity. The tech has in effect re-written the laws.

Gary Neville absolutely praying Xavi got sent off. It was a silly challenge. But yellow would’ve sufficed. Refs and VAR have completely ruined the game.

The worry I have with the three minute breaks at the World Cup and the move to quarterise football matches is that it will catch on and broadcasters will lobby for the extra advert space worldwide.

Just finished S4 of Fauda. Don’t think I’ve anything in years that end with multiple punches in your chest, twists the knife, and then leaves you staring at the screen in silence. It’s one of those finales where you just sit there for a minute thinking. Incredible.

We demand? Have some respect! I’ve enjoyed Salah - the guy is special and been phenomenal in the PL. But when you’re out of form, you’re benched. It’s nothing personal. Happened to HM Son more than once. Did he go to the press? No one is updroppable, nor bigger than the club.
