Fantastic win yesterday in our final ever game as the boys showed why they are champions by coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Orford. Rhys Byrne was the hero as he scored 2 including a spectacular winner into the top corner. What a way to go out! 🇪🇪💙🖤🧡⚽️🏆🏆

The last dance! After our final ever training session last night the lads have one more mission to complete their junior football journey. Sunday’s game at Orford will be the 305th full game for this team since we started in 2012. Both teams in form so it should be a good one!⚽️

Great travelling support as always for the lads as they near the end of their journey together as a team. It will be an emotional one next week as we go to Orford for our last ever @WarrJFL game before a celebration of this double-winning season back at The VSC. 💙🖤🧡🏆🏆⚽️

Penultimate game of our @WarrJFL season today as we travelled to face Lymm Piranhas. Both teams put up an excellent showing & it was 1-1 at the break. But a Rhys Byrne goal on 71 earned Vulcan a 2-1 win in the final meeting of 2 teams who have been playing each other since U7’s!

Congratulations to our U18s team who have won the WJFL U18s Prem! A great achievement and a massive well done to the players, the managers @P_Mac38 , @probinson5 and Iain Dyson and everyone else involved. A great season with a league/Cup double 💙🖤

2 league games to go of this memorable season for the lads & this Sunday we make the short trip down the M6 to face Lymm Piranhas. After clinching the title, Vulcan will be hoping to continue our recent form. It should be another good game and all support is welcome. 🇪🇪💙🖤🏆🏆

Incredible day.A good friendly with our old friends at Lymm. But today we got news that Orford beat Billinge-a result that meant Vulcan are WJFLU18 Premier League champions. These lads have deserved it!! More to follow but what a day for our club! #TheDouble is done!

The win means with 3 games left we have a great chance to add the Premier Division title to the President’s Cup we won 3 weeks ago. The lads will keep their focus & look forward to the next challenge as we near the end of our final season as a team. Great memories being made!💙

With 1 point between the teams at the start of play it was all on the line in the WJFL Premier Division. A good first half looked like going unrewarded before goals on 41 & 89 minutes sealed a priceless 3 points after an excellent Vulcan display at both ends of the pitch.

Fantastic result for the lads today as they travelled to fellow title challengers Billinge & came away with a 2-0 win.Conditions were horrendous for the most part but a great shift from both teams was decided with goal from Moorhouse & McCue as Vulcan went 4 points clear! 💙🖤🧡

The Vets game was postponed this morning due to a waterlogged pitch. Yesterday the pitch was OK but overnight rain caused it to be unplayable U18s Billinge 0-2 Vulcan U18s Kyle Moorhouse and Sam McCue with the goals. A great win for the U18s 💙🖤

4 games to go for the top 2 in the WJFL Premier Division & this one couldn’t be any bigger as Vulcan travel to Billinge for the final meeting of the sides this season with both looking for the result that will give them the advantage! All support welcome! 🇪🇪💙🖤🧡⚽️

Tomorrow we take on Newton Athletic at home 2pm KO, as we aim to continue our recent good form The reserves are away at Middlewich Town Reserves, 2pm KO, hoping to turn draws into wins after 4 draws in the last 5 league games, with the last 2 coming behind from 2-0 down 💙🖤
