Hey, everyone. I have a very important update so please, pretty please, share and RT this, I appreciate it so much!
My website has been redesigned and is running RIGHT NOW with ALL OF MY INVENTORY RESTOCKED and ready to go for Christmas! The site has been completely overhauled
I'm collecting more data and conducting more tests. But currently, I believe that all "bricked" Wii-Us with error code 060-0103 are completely recoverable without any soldering or opening of the system..
I'll have a detailed video on this, very shortly.
..And to all of who
Several gaming journalists have written articles alleging that Wii-Us are dying and are getting bricked with an error code.
I just wanted to let you all know that I'm officially on the scene.
I'll have answers for you all, shortly.
I know I talk about a lot of things on here and people might consider this "drama", but please just hear me out and read until the end. This company is problematic in more ways than one and it's becoming exhausting.
@LimitedRunGames

The Nintendo Switch will soon have a fully featured and updateable flash cart.
This will be the only solderless mod available for newer revisions of the hardware, including the OLED.
I'll have more info, soon.
Exciting news for the Switch scene
We have obtained from one of our followers an exclusive video from an upcoming product this person is a beta-tester for.
Apparently a "flash cart" type device is coming pretty soon for the
#NintendoSwitch
which supports all firmwares, all
Wii-U NAND update:
I've designed a Wii-U NAND interposer that will allow you to both dump/write to your busted Wii-U NAND as well as replace any bad NANDs with a Micro-SD card. I'll revise the routing a little more, but this is done.
I'll spin these up and make sure everything
ATTENTION BRICKED WII U OWNERS!
Please RT and share!
I've made this very small 9 minute video on how you might possibly unbrick your Wii U with just an $8 Raspberry Pi Pico. This won't unbrick EVERY Wii U with memory corruption, but it's worth a try!
My day is going great. I stopped by a yard sale and bought a box full of NES games for $10.
Oh, and there was an Earthbound in the very bottom.
I uh, can't believe this.
Everyone, I want to demonstrate the NAND-AID. This interposer is a 2-in-1 tool that allows you to both recover your bad NAND chip but also replace it entirely with a MicroSD card.
Once I finalize the design, I'll release it 100% for free so we can fix these Wii-Us! Sound good?
Nintendo's final attempt to lock-down the now dead and unsupported 3DS has been thwarted by the amazing 3DS hacking community.
Remember, it's always morally correct to hack hardware that's been sent to the graveyard.
Especially when it's Nintendo; A company that doesn't care
Sorry, I'm not going to pay over $100 for a loose GBA game that was printed in volumes of millions.
If I want a physical cartridge of this, I'll just go buy a pirate from Aliexpress for $5.
I'm no longer buying retro games. It's been ruined by cunting opportunists.
Peace out

Please RT this! My Wii-U RECOVERY kit is ready to go!
I designed this kit so that we can unbrick all of the failing Wii-Us! Replace the failing NAND memory with an SD-Card, use the SD-Tool to manually dump your failing NAND!

My friends, the SNES 2CHIP Edge Enhancer is 90% ready to go. I would like to write a few paragraphs about it, if that's OK.
1) My design is 100% all original. It's not based off of any forum post or esoteric website dedicated to any kind of video fixes. I broke SNES' DAC down
Listen, everyone.
This is not a joke or stupid drama. I want you to all to remember the names of the "Youtubers" and social media influencers who've vehemently and ignorantly defended their "friend" who defrauded people for nearly a decade.
Those people aren't to be trusted.
@TheFamilyBovine
A great deal of research and hard work went into their investigation. People deserve to be paid for their efforts and not everything is done under the guise of altruism.
This is an embarrassing take. Consider deleting it.
No, games were better in the past. Micro-transactions, frivolous DLC and franchises becoming politically charged are all things that keep me from the modern landscape of video games.
Back in my day; You bought a game, it magically "worked" day 1, and you made memories.
Wii-U NAND UPDATE!!!!
I designed the "SD TOOL", an extremely basic JIG that will allow you to dump most eMMC/NANDs without having to own an expensive programmer as most SD card readers and read/write to eMMC!
I'll be releasing it for free, along with the Wii-U NAND-AID.
Have you all ever heard of the Coffee Lake mod? It allows you to run 8th/9th generation Intel CPUs on a Z170/Z270 platform.
This mobo originally had an I7 6700K. I'm now running an Intel Xeon Engineering Sample that's equivalent to a I9 9900K!
Intel REALLY cheated us, badly!
Why don't you just stick to gaming journalism and not try to reinvent gaming vernacular that's existed for decades, Kotaku?
What the fuck is wrong with these people?
The word "Metroidvania" is an inelegant portmanteau that's hard to explain to people who don't play video games. We should come up with something better:
I am reminded of what this hobby is truly about. Fuck the WATA's & the people who work/do business with them. Let's make this act of kindness known to ALL retro gamers by RT-ing this. I have a copy, so I'll be giving this to one of you who deserve it.
Thank you,
#notantique
Does anyone want me to do an up-to-date soft-modding tutorial for the 3DS/Wii-U using the latest, free methods from start to finish?
Any interest in that?
Wii-U NAND update.
Did you know that you can read/write eMMC/eNAND memory with almost any PC card reader?
To make this easier, I've designed a little MicroSD jig that'll allow you to use what you most likely already have (card reader) to dump your corrupted NAND, manually.
Well, I've been shooting video all day, today.
Let me introduce you to not only the PSDigital, but the ONLY Goddamn PS1 ODE that you will ever need to buy that completely shits all over the PSIO's compatibility.
Strap-On, I'm going to take you in, deep.
Who's ready?
I've had so many messages from people already who've "unbricked" their otherwise paperweight Wii-Us by using the NAND-AID.
I'm so thankful for all of the kind words from you. I truly appreciate ppl reaching out, telling me how much this has helped.
I've restocked the kits!
Everyone,
ALL Super Nintendo owners who want sharp pixels should be VERY happy with what I have coming for everyone. This is my final love letter to the SNES, and it's taken me years to finish.
The SNES Enhancer is a labor of love and my farewell letter to the Super Nintendo.
Helping my good buddy
@Voultar
optimize the circuit for the 3-chip SNES de-blur mod.
It looks incredible, especially after running it through the RT4K auto-gain/auto-phase!
This will really breath some new life into those old consoles.
@AspyrMedia
That's completely unacceptable.
Many people (including myself) bought this game with the assurance the DLC would be reconstituted and eventually restored for the game.
That was the whole point of buying it again. Otherwise, I'd just stick to my OG Xbox copy.
I have a prototype of the only 4K video processor that's designed for video games in the entire world.
The RetroTink 4K is real and it's the most amazing thing I've ever experienced. It's unbelievable..
You all won't believe what this thing can do.. it changes everything..
- Mike Chi gave us the Retrotink 2x, the first affordable scaler that you simply plugged in and used.
- Mike Chi gave us the RetroTink 5x, a scaler with capabilities that no other video processor has ever possessed. All while receiving more support and adding features that were
@retrotink2
Now we know why the 4k is so expensive it's so you can squeeze in all that China surveillance gear!
Someone thought it was because you were greedy.
Remember, friends -- The answer to game preservation is always piracy. No sole organization or entity is going to have a fraction of the power, reach, or influence than that of a community that's collectively digitally archiving (pirating) the data of our beloved games.
🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
I want to update everyone on the current Wii-U NAND failure status.
I'm in the process of designing hardware that's going to make replacing faulty eMMC chips much, much easier. It will be released for free. The software will have to catch up, but the hardware will be available
"Nintendo actively funds lobbying that prevents even libraries from being able to provide legal access to these games"
- Look,I love Nintendo's game systems and franchises, but they're a horrible company. Taking away the legal availability of thousands of games.
Pirate them!
Who else misses the bacon strips?
Back in the day.. If you saw this logo, you knew you were in for a good time!
I never would've thought that Konami would fall into a bottomless pit of shit.. so sad.
3D Printing is supposed to be fun!
My Samus Amibos can now save their progress in these Super Metroid save capsules! What a beautiful way to showcase these Amiibos!
People, I'm so pleased to see that cheaper, lower entry HDMI kits are coming to the PS2 and other systems.
The RetroTink4K IS REAL. This device is going to take the lossless output of these lower cost mods and do things that no modkit can, IN 4K!
You all won't believe it!!

Please RT this. It's kind of serious and everyone needs to know.
I've taken down my latest Youtube video where I installed an
@ExtremeRate
Nintendo Switch shell.
Cleaning the unit with 91% IPA caused their 'durable" shell to disintegrate and effectively melt.
The RetroTink4K has the most advanced CRT simulation technology that we've ever seen.
Mike chose a very powerful FPGA that, while costs more, will provide huge, meaningful updates to the hardware for the next 10 years.
Yes. 10 years.
Sorry for the waiting guys!
Mike provided me the newest Retrotink 4K and I am blown away by the CRT-Masks & scanlines! 🥹
What do you think?

I can and will advocate for non-legal means of archival.
Piracy. Piracy. Piracy. There's nothing shameful about digitally archiving a piece of software that's no longer being made available by a publisher.
I would rather rely on piracy than rely on any company.
I work in the industry and cannot for obvious reasons openly advocate for non-legal means of archival, but it's awful that preservation really does rely on them and that museums, academics, and more cannot rely on that system. Important works will officially disappear this month.
There's something that I'm interested in doing throughout 2024.
I want to create a main-board replacement that unifies both the Genesis and 32X into a codified design.
The Sega Neptune stuff has really motivated me. Anyone interested in that?
Is this seriously your response to defrauding people and ripping them off with your burned CD-R games?
Limited Scam Games, don't be surprised when the FTC and other legal agencies come knocking on you door as you've grossly taken advantage of good people for profit.

Truly, I want people to understand what "refurbishment" means when selling a 10+ year old video game hardware.
Consoles need to be sanitary just as badly as they need to look good.
A magic eraser won't do this.
If you're charging $, please do this correctly, it's not cheap..
Hard week. On top everything else that's going on, my faithful dog of 20 years "doggie" decided that it was time to pass on. I held him one last time and said goodbye as he faded.
I need a day or two, I'm not really holding anything together right now so please bear with me.
WII-U NAND repair update:
Placement looks fantastic. These proto PCBS fit beautifully into position. I might make a very small tweak, but this is looking very good!
The Nintendo Switch has an upcoming solderless mod in a cartridge format that is currently called the "Mig Switch". This mod will allow you to load multiple Switch backups onto the cartridge.
More info coming soon!
More Details Has Been Uncovered About the First Switch Flashcart
After some digging around by our
@AfterTimeX
journalists, it was discovered that the “Switch Flashcart” in fact has a name, “Mig Switch” and they agreed to answer a few of our questions about some points that
Please, everyone.. Don't let this deceptive scam go..
This is the biggest untruth and lie that I've ever read. There is nothing uniquely exceptional about the data found on a 3DO disc that makes it more difficult to "press" than any other compact disc.
Limited Run Lies..
Who's ready to save some Wii-Us?!
Production samples are in! The design files will be released, and DIY kits will be sold in my store!!
The SD Tool is made with hard gold plating, ensuring a very long life!
This has been a long time coming. I hope these tools help! Thank you!
ANNOUNCEMENT!!
Soon, we'll be diving deeply into Analogue's Neo Geo CMVS Slim which was sold for $649.
Are you ladies & gentlemen interested in a full teardown of this insanely expensive, horrendously engineered modding project that should've never been sold?
LMK!
Jesus, I hate people who make low effort content that's just deceptive clickbait. Obviously people watch it but I don't see the appeal in watching disingenuous garbage.
"Look at me, sitting amongst my video game shelves while I bullshit you in front of a camera."
Would anyone like to see an Xbox video where I do... lots of things?
Things that've never been demonstrated or shown in a Youtube video (to the best of my knowledge) b4?
- It'd definitely be a long video. I dunno..
I decided to do some optical analysis of the GameCube and I've concluded that C238 on the optical board is most often responsible for GameCube disc read error.
I recommend replacing this capacitor with a 220uF tantalum.
Nevermind the other capacitors on the board, I was just
Let me ask everyone something;
You own a PS1 and want to play Final Fantasy VII. But there's nowhere you can buy Final Fantasy VII that's not on the secondary market for the PS1.
Is it wrong to pirate Final Fantasy VII on the PS1 to play it, or should you be forced to spend
I'm going to share some things with you all so if you don't want to read a wall of text, skip this tweet..

Start backing up your Wii-U NANDS, right now.
If you do this, you'll be fine. If you don't, you run the risk of the memory being unrecoverable killing your Wii-U, forever.
Follow the easy guide in my video, I marked it for you. It's free and easy.
I just watched The8BitGuy take a prototype IBM machine and:
1) Short the PSU out with a paper-clip.
2) Dremel Torx security screws to disassemble the PSU.
It's really a shame that a lot of these larger Youtubers are celebrated while they have ZERO idea of what they're doing.
Ladies & gentlemen, speed-runners & casual streamers..
I give you Chrono Cross on PS1 outputting 1080P via the RetroTink 5x, captured with a Datapath E2S with NO signal dropouts when switching between progressive/interlaced video resolutions.
RT this, the world must know..
Both of these picture are from the same 2CHIP SNES.
You can see the differences for yourself. Mario has a nice defined outline and is looking pretty sharp!
This is the WORST DMCA abuse I've ever seen within our small community.
Sit down, I've got a story for you.
This all started because the maker of the XboxHD+(MakeMHZ) decided to remove a component (a $0.30 microcontroller) from the XboxHD+, which allowed it to be compatible
So, in Pineapple Flavored Fucknugget fashion…

See you all tomorrow.
PS1 rant.
The PSU that ships with the PS1 is professionally engineered and incredibly efficient. Service these units and they'll last forever. I don't understand this fascination with replacing perfectly good hardware with something that's often very questionable. The only time
In my opinion, THIS is the real problem with piracy.
It's people like this eBay modder that are the problem. $100 for 5 minutes of work transferring ROMs/ISOs that you don't own? You don't think that's crooked AF?
People who operate like this completely undermine all of the
The story continues. I built a N64 Digital HDMI converter with a Raspberry Pi Pico.
Still an early prototype, but it seems to work!
It uses 320x240

internally and outputs a 640x480

signal, but this shows that the Pico is capable of doing _at least_ this.
IMO, this is the best, low cost true digital-to-digital HDMI modification for the Wii. It's compatible with ALL Wii revisions and has by far the easiest installation of any kit that I've evaluated.
@ElectronShep
has done a GREAT job and I've enjoyed debugging/working with it.
My friends, as a result of the recent climate, this is as far as I can take you. From this point, it's up to you to follow your own destinies.
Good luck to you, and remember.. You CAN achieve greatness for $10, providing that you're willing to do what is necessary to chase your

It's going to be a whopper!

The Wii-U is home to some of the BEST games.
It's one of Nintendo's best systems. And if it didn't exist, 80% of the Switch library would vanish into thin air!
My friends, I have been on a long, painful journey with the 2CHIP SNES. This is my farewell love letter to this system as these are the final SNES mods that I'll ever design. I want to thank everyone who's stuck by me and has waited patiently for me to finish this work. The extra
Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle owners in North America who want a little more power and speed can now buy 60 horsepower for just $60 a month or, on other models, 80 horsepower for $90 a month
I just had a "customer" order something and once it was delivered to them, they went into their account information and changed it all to bogus data.
They've now issued a charge-back stating that they didn't buy anything from me. 🤡
I'm going to start exposing the thieves.
Remember when I said that architecture constructed with block logic in an FPGA is a form of emulation & members of the MISter community lost their shit?
Well, I stumbled upon this little death threat when I was going through my contact form inquires.
This.. over video games?
Nintendo is all about bleeding their consumer dry with their multi-tiered "access" paywalls to their 30+ year old content.
Rather than selling you their ancient library, digitally, (Wii/U Virtual Console) they're going to milk you in perpetuity.
Pirate those games!
@IGN
Congrats
@noobde
for whoring Mortal Kombat out to be another micro-transaction mediocrity.
$10 for a flippin' fatality.. Jesus Christ the grifting..
Pirate all of the games for the 3DS and Wii-U. Nintendo has abandoned these platforms and aren't interested in you purchasing titles for them, any longer.
Go forth!
