We collaborated with innumerable partners to extend collective reach and deepen our impact. We encountered candidates and office-holders, putting them on record about how they’d invest in kids, and helped build a non-partisan movement pledging to "#VoteForKids.” 5/

New projects, leaders and techniques are required to address the staggeringly unequal state of children’s health, education, safety, wellbeing and opportunity in America. Our disgracefully high child poverty rate amidst massive wealth must not only be reduced, but eliminated. 4/

Our board and staff will endeavor, and we call on you – supporters, partners, funders, child-serving professionals and fellow activists – to keep finding new ways to carry forward Every Child Matters’ vision. 3/

Every Child Matters has achieved much over two decades. Our mission – to give kids a voice in American politics, including during election campaigns - remains as urgently needed now as ever. The resources to staff our program continuously, however, can no longer be sustained. 2/
