Tonight, with the historic passage of Issue 49, Cleveland chose hope for our future.

Cleveland passes a property tax increase for the city schools – a political victory for Mayor Justin Bibb, who will be up for reelection next year. (And after that...?)

With 333 of 336 precincts in, we can safely announce that Issue 49 has passed with 66% of the vote, according to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections! We thank all Cleveland voters and every Issue 49 volunteer and supporter for making this possible!
