This may be a hot take but I don’t think any conference should have more than 3 teams in the playoffs. The point of the playoffs is to find the best team and if you finish 4th or 5th in your own conference then you’re not the best team. It’s the SEC and Big Ten’s fault for

In a playoff for a *national* champion, a team that can't even finish third in its own conference is not more deserving than a team that wins theirs. Sorry you chose to join a 16-team superleague, but that was your choice. Deal with the consequences.

The refs threw a flag on this, and then PICKED IT UP and said there was no pass interference on Ole Miss. Higher ranked SEC team in trouble? Refs going to do absolutely anything to help them every time. Unbelievably suspect games in this league.
