People don't stop to think about how implying assault is related to attraction can undermine the victim but also put the blame on them. If you imply it's about attraction, it leads to the usual comments. "What were you wearing? Were you being a tease?" etc.
Rape and assault is not caused by attraction Rape and assault is caused by the desire to control, to assert their power/dominance to a person. The desire and the strong intent to harm someone.
